Please note that this article is a very generic guide to repairing or optimizing MySQL through PHPMyAdmin. If you need more specific assistance with this issue, please contact Support or submit a ticket from Help Desk.

If your database is performing slowly or you notice errors similar to "table crashed" you may need to run some MySQL maintenance through PHPMyAdmin.

Open the database which should be repaired.
Select the tables that need repair and pick the Repair table action from the drop-down menu located below the tables' list.
Open the database which should be repaired.

For eg:

The tables will be repaired and you will get a confirmation screen.

Optimization follows essentially the same path, but  rather than selecting Repair, you would utilize the Optimize tool.

If MySQL is having any continued issues or is unable to repair / optimize the database table(s) in question, you will see the appropriate related error. You can send that error to our support department and will able to assist you further.
